About the Designer

Hi there! My name is Melisa Umaguing and I recently graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Graphic Design. Born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, I grew up in a diverse city and have a great appreciation for the arts. I unintentionally found my passion for graphic design as a senior in high school when I chose for graphic design as an elective, not knowing exactly what it was. At the time, I had no idea how that minor decision would impact my life and future. Since then, through classes and personal interest, I have been experimenting with different disciplines of art and expanding my skillset. I am currently interested in social media graphics, web design, and print within the beauty and entertainment industry. However, I am open to anything and would love the challenge of stepping out of my comfort zone!
